Coupons having excluded product grayed out

I went back to update some coupons and noticed that is no feedback on the exclusions.  It shows grayed out when you select it, but you switch to exclude another item its not grayed out anymore.  Just want to be able to tell at a glance what is really excluded from the list rather than being told to "test it or just remake ithe coupon".
