Sometimes people want cash, store credit or both it would be nice to have a split payment option where you could give someone a $220 check, 20$ cash and $2.26 in store credit in the same transaction with the cash/ credit differential remaining intact i.e. 50% for cash/check payouts and 60% for store credit payouts (if that's the rate your store uses).
This would be very useful as it comes up all the time where someone wants to use the credit they have to purchase something and also get the remainder owing via the cash amount remainder.
Example: Trade from buylist becomes 100 cash with 120 credit, i can sell them 60 dollars worth of product via the credit and owing would be $40 cash. Versus putting 120 in credit, ringing out sale, reversing the credit with a calculator and ringing out a line item as a return with the remainder cash, and then zero'ing out their credit line.
Upvote, this comes up all the time along with the split CC payments for in-store pickup.
Oh I have always wanted this!
