Daily Financial report generated by POS should include cash spent on buy orders.

4:02 pm in Mountlake Terrace, US
Hello! My name is Darren. I am here to help with any questions that may arise while using your CrystalCommerce services!

When a Daily Financial report is produced, how come it doesn't report or take into account anything that was purchased as a buy order?

Hello, let me start by gathering some information. Can you tell me specifically where you are clicking to generate the report? There are many options for the report so let's make sure you are looking at the right one

In the POS screen, I click Menu > Reports > Daily Financial

I would use the reporting in the admin itself, there is a "buy orders" button on the dashboard under General Stats. this will show your buy order stats and allow you to export them
I am not sure why the POS reporting does not include buy orders that might have been from before our system allowed buy orders

It would be handy if it did. At the end of day we print up that report and then see how much cash sales were made... After we count all the cash in our till we can then subtract our daily float from the cash and the remaining money "should" match what the report says we sold in cash sales... but if we buy MTG singles (or anything else, really) it won't match because we use money from the till.

okay would you mind putting that suggestion on our ideas board?
