This would be very useful to differentiate gift card payment method from other payment methods. There is currently no way to track payments made with a physical gift card without making the person create an account. For instance, this is useful for circumstances when a Grandparent gets a gift card for their Grandchildren and don't want to create an account, they just want a physical gift card. We need a payment option in the POS to ring physical versions of store credit, aka gift cards.
I feel that any retailer that offers physical gift cards, has customers who are purchasing gift cards for someone else, or have customers who would rather not make an account but still want to buy a gift card would benefit from this.
This would work by adding an additional payment button for "Gift Cards" to the existing ones in the POS.
