Anyone who uses the POS would probably love this -
When I sell a draft entry, it should remove three boosters from my inventory or whatever set is current (or 2-1). This could be configurable in the backend for what sets as well as prize support.
This is a HUGE problem for us currently.
We definitely need this to track inventory. We are a newer user of the system and this was discussed last night. We need a way to set events to include the packs which would also support a kit system where we do package deals for buying a "set", such as a deck box, protectors, and mat that are all the same image set.
This would be SO awesome! We currently just add the appropriate packs and discount them, but still, this would be way cooler. So like, if we have a $15 draft, that is 3 packs per player plus 1 pack in the prize pool. So we will ring up 4 packs, and discount them so that it charges $15 for all 4. Still a lot of extra steps.
Or, when you buy booster boxes, the system might know that there are 6 boxes to a case and 36 boosters to a box. This lack of assembly was a huge let down migrating from Quickbooks POS to CC POS.
Yes! Other inventory management systems call this a "kit" or in QuickBooks it's an "assembly". I'd also like to see it work the other way, when I buy a mixed case (Pokemon launch kit) it pieces out the individual units (boosters, theme decks, promo cards).
