Creation of Sales Reports
We use the software as an in-store POS for all our products. No on-line sales. In order to create a purchase order I need to know what has sold from the store to decide if I want to replace it. In order to do this I go through the following steps:
Admin Panel Orders Page Up
Click Shipped Unclick Payment Received
Click Point of Sale Unclick Hide In Store
Click Created in the Past Click Start Date
Click Create On Before Click Today's Date
Click Page(s) Down Click Print XX Pullsheat
Click Cancel (do not want to print to reg tape) Results Displayed on Screen)
From here I can make my order based on what was sold
This should not be so much work to only partially fill my needs. I also want to know the retail value and would love to know the cost or the margin for the products with the totals for the period. As much of the coding is already there to produce what the program is delivering now, it doesn't seem a reach to produce a report like this. I cannot believe I am the only one with this need.

The reports function of the dashboard could use an overhaul. It is capable of so much more with just a few tweaks.
