Currently, if you have a group of products that need to be moved to a new category, there are only two options:
The first is to delete all of the products and re-import them into the new category, which is time consuming and deletes the activity log data.

The second is to export the products to csv, assign manufacturer skus to them (if they don't have it), and then upload the csv updating products based on sku instead of name. This process can also be a bit time consuming and confusing.

What would be useful is a batch update option to move the products in a search to another category.
